The world’ elite coming to the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix
The 44th Porsche Tennis Grand Prix features one of the strongest main draw fields in its history. Headed by Ashleigh Barty, the world No. 1, a total of seven Top 10 players will be appearing in the Porsche Arena from 17 to 25 April.
The Porsche Tennis Grand Prix is the flagship of the sports car manufacturer’s successful involvement in women’s tennis. First held in 1978, it has developed into one of the WTA Tour’s showpiece tournaments. At the last PTGP in 2019, the top-class starting field and the appealing supporting program once again ensured that the players voted the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix the world’s most popular tournament in its category. Since its move from Filderstadt to Stuttgart’s Porsche Arena in 2006, the PTGP has won this award a total of ten times.
