For over 20 years now, company policy has been one of sustainability which, alongside outstanding product quality, also includes a policy of social responsibility and a strong commitment to environmental protection. Commissioned by the Qualitätsgemeinschaft Biomineralwasser e.V., the BCS Öko-Garantie GmbH’s audit of the “Ensinger Water” gastronomy mineral water as an “organic water” openly documents this commitment for consumers and facilitates a conscious consumption.
“Ensinger Gourmet” is therefore the first ever organic mineral water in the state of Baden Württemberg. New is the pledge to commit itself to concrete measures to protect water by means of ecological farming methods. Other conditions like eco-friendly production and sales and the adherence to social standards are already being fulfilled by Ensinger. The “organic mineral water” concept approved by the Federal Court of Justice in 2012, aims, over and above the high quality standards set down in the current mineral water legislation, to achieve best practice standards for environmental protection, product quality and transparency in order to protect resources.
Now in its third generation, the Ensinger Mineral-Heilquellen GmbH is a family enterprise based in Baden Württemberg that, for more than 60 years, has drawn natural mineral and healing water, produced first class products from the water and duly sold them all over Germany.
Since 2008, the “Qualitätsgemeinschaft Biomineralwasser e.V.” has committed itself to treating our most important “foodstuff”, namely water, with care. It watches over the guidelines for the “organic mineral water” seal of quality. It sensitises the industry and consumers for the problems arising from the increasing pollution of water.
