Since La Marzocco was founded by brothers Giuseppe and Bruno Bambi in Florence in 1927, the focus has always been on innovation, which continues today. In addition to innovations of the horizontal boiler of the bar machines in 1935, which became the industrial standard, there have always been products for the home. From the citrus press of the 1930s, the home range evolved through the Linea Mini and GS3, to the latest machine for the home: the Linea Micra.
The Accademia del Caffè Espresso is located in La Marzocco's former production facility in the middle of the hills of Tuscany. The center of global coffee culture is where history, technology and research meet.
Your visit to the Accademia del Caffè Espresso will open the doors to the world of espresso. Accompanied by our guides, you will be led through the historic buildings. In an interactive exhibition you will learn about our history and our innovations, you will find old workbenches where the first machines were made, clothes and tools of the first craftsmen or drawings of never built espresso machines.
