They are crazy about Maria Sharapova and Rafael Nadal: the finals weekend of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix also provided the big stage for the little ones when the 7th Porsche Mini Tennis Grand Prix took place in the Sport and Lifestyle Village from 26th to 28th April. The kids played on mini courts resembling the four surfaces used for the Grand Slam tournaments: two hard courts for the Australian Open and US Open, a grass court for Wimbledon and a clay court for the French Open. The participating U-8 boys and girls all qualified for the finals after winning one of the qualifying tournaments organised by five clubs in Baden and Württemberg.
We say Congratulations to the winners Fabio Wörner (TB Bernhausen) and Kim Hummel (TA Sprf. Schwendi) and wish them all the best!
